An Israeli container ship was hit by Iranian missile or two missiles in central Arabian sea at around 0000 UTC Mar 25, claimed Israeli media. It is most probably, container ship LORI, managed and owned by Haifa-based companies. The ship is en route from Dar es Salam Tanzania to Mundra India, at around 0000 UTC LORI reduced speed to a full speed, resumed sailing at around 0400 UTC same day, and as of 1740 UTC Mar 25, was under way heading for Mundra at some 20 knots speed. The ship is reported to sustain damages, but no casualties or injures among crew.
What’s the purpose of recent Iranian attacks on Israeli merchant ships, if they really took place? No serious damages, no casualties – just luck or is it something else? – what’s all for?
