Malaysian offshore rig NAGA-7 sinks after punch-through incident while operating for ConocoPhillips, on May 4 in offshore Sarawak waters, northern Kalimantan. The company confirms that the jack-up is submerged following the incident while setting up on a well location. Understood one of legs of three-legged platform broke through hard sea floor into mud below, rig as a result, capsized and sank. All 101 personnel on board reportedly managed to evacuated into 3 lifeboats, and are safe.
