General cargo ship UGUR DADAYLI was instructed or ordered by MRCC Malta to rescue distressed migrants east of Sfax, Tunisia, early in the morning Jun 12, reported Turkish maritime edition DenizHaber. The ship, which left Sfax several hours earlier being bound for Sousse Tunisia, obeyed the order and picked up from boat some 100 migrants. MRCC Malta requested the ship to proceed to Tunisia and disembark migrants in Tunisian port. Understood there was (is) something of a riot among them, so Captain informed Malta, that the ship is proceeding to Malta, to dispose of migrants. Situation unfolding, awaiting updates. As of 1500 UTC Jun 12, the ship was under way sailing towards Malta.
